A Broadband Remote Access Server (BRAS) is an interface to the internet for any ISP's network. It is a gateway server which aggregates the entire network traffic making it possible for ISPs to manage the user sessions and policies effectively. A BRAS also interfaces with RADIUS for authentication, authorization and accounting of users. |
